Reena Freedman (Alto) A Cappella Singer

"Reena" actually translates as "joyous song" in several languages, so it's fitting that she's been singing on stage since she was ten. Her love for a cappella began in college with the Bryn Mawr-Haverford Extreme Keys and and it only grew in graduate school with the University of Maryland Faux Paz. Music and life have taken her around the world and back, and it continues to be a great ride with Similar Jones. During Reena's time in Boston, she has also sung with Downtown Crossing and The Elements. The a cappella scene is so very incestuous, don't you know?

Reena has a great partner, Dan, daughter, Rose, son, Reuben, and loves living in the People's Republic of Cambridge.
