Hailing locally from Sacramento, Justin is founder and President of Outta the Vox. Getting his start in groups like the Sacramento Children's Chorus, Cordova High Concert and Chamber Choirs as well as several runs with CMEA and ACDA honor choirs, it didn't take Justin long to realize he had a passion for ensemble singing,and eventually teaching. After studying music at American River College he transferred to the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music where he studied voice and picked up a teaching position at the B Sharp School of Music. Upon returning home he saw that Sacramento was missing something in it's already rich music scene; contemporary Acappella! Justin founded Outta the Vox in September of 2015 and it has been one of the most rewarding artistic experiences he has ever had! He sends his love and gratitude out to every person who helped make this once small project into the successful and artful ensemble it is today.
