5130 takes its namesake from the school s altitude and is Erie s elite auditioned jazz/acapella choir, featuring singers in grades 11-12. The group has consistently received high ratings at Greeley Jazz Festival and CHSAA Jazz festival and opened for FACE vocal band and championship Barbershop Quartets. Last year they were featured as an honor ensemble at the Colorado MEA conference. 5130 students strive for the highest level of musical excellence while creating a sense of family within the group. 5130 is one of the newest choirs at EHS and was started in 2016/17.
