Anne Palmer comes to Swing Shift with a diverse background. She began taking private vocal training at the age of 13 with emphases in jazz and classical vocal styles. Over the years she has sung with a variety of performing ensembles including the Riverside Master Chorale, Pacific Standard Time (one of the top university vocal jazz groups in the country), Camerata Singers of Long Beach, professional Christmas caroling groups The Music Companie and The Other Reindeer along with adding her voice to many other studio projects and one-time performances. She also founded and directed E Street A Cappella at El Camino College. Among the highlights of her experiences so far have been singing in a fully staged version of Madama Butterfly at the Redlands Bowl, singing Beethoven's 9th Symphony in the Disney Concert Hall with the California Philharmonic, and recording a song at Capitol Records for a documentary film.
