Saffron Quartet, formed in January of 2015, is a four-part female a cappella group whose focus is barbershop, but who also delights in singing minor and dissonant chords. We have been so fortunate to have achieved multiple awards in the Barbershop world, and opportunities beyond! We are blessed to be able to continue our journey with our new baritone, Valeri, who brings us a deep appreciation of music on so many levels. While Amanda (lead) and SueBee (bass) reside in Connecticut, and Christine (tenor) lives in Vermont, Valeri's central location in Massachusetts rounds out our New England presence. The anticipation to ring some chords and create music lessens the travel between us. It’s all about the music! Our passion is great harmony, great friendships and the ability to share our songs and inspire all those who hear us.
