Founded in 2016, Chord of Appeals (COA) is an all-gender group of young professionals who share a of love of singing. COA performs an eclectic repertoire, ranging from classic rock to modern pop with the occasional folk or classical tune. Originally formed by a group of friends who missed the days of collegiate A Cappella, COA has grown to fourteen members with ages spanning across two decades. Having survived COVID lockdown by hosting virtual concerts, COA can now be found performing at their biannual concerts in D.C. or at holiday events throughout the DMV. In recent years, COA has also given special performances at the Smithsonian Castle and the White House.
